From Daphne, AL to Cape Cod to Maryland to New York State all in two years -whew!!
Chester says "are you kidding me.....we are doing this again!!"
and he has to share with boxes, bags and birds too, he is not so keen.
the process starts with a few boxes
one by one, each item is packed
it isn't long before a few things start to get in the way
a very dear friend brings snacks
one last look (oh....I forgot that candle holder..)
A sad last look
the truck is loaded - too stuffed to take whats left.
and off we go again.
in it all comes.....that thing is heavy
the unpacking begins
seriously who has this many pictures - James wants to know
just throw the empties over the rail
days have passed and all you want is a home cooked meal...
if only we could find the forks and steak knifes - the chopping knife will have to do.
and didn't we just get rid of this pile??
hmm...these pots looked better in Alabama
I like it better in here.
here comes that heavy thing again
and finally a week late the "lost" part of the shipment arrives.
now time to unpack
Chester is finding his way
boxes on their way to the basement
finally a place to relax.......
but suddenly - paper and boxes and chaos again.
sorry Chester you wont be sleeping on the red sofa tonight
maybe it's better to wait in the car, can we just get this over with?packed and ready to load
that sad empty look again...not so sad this time - we weren't attached here
finally...a quiet corner to sleep
testing another corner
a loaded truck leaving in the dark- and that's not the first time.
another house,
We are glad we have a long driveway, don't think the movers were as happy.
good grief, I'll just wait in here
here comes that big thing again!
no basement for storage this time - this bedroom will be four deep in boxes for some time.
oh no those darn pictures again.
empty boxes show progress right?
wake me up when it's all over thanks.
Maybe it is time to rename this blog "New in Town Again"
